Scent : Spiced Blackberry Jam

Charred wood and crowd chants, crows cawing and blackberry juice dripping down fingers. Thorns and teeth and claws, fire and brimstone and curses broken. The witch is tied to a pyre made of blackthorn wood, and yet she doesn’t scream she laughs. As the flames lick her she disappears in a puff of clove scented smoke.
